My Story

In September 2022, my sister sat me down. I could tell by the look on her face that my life was about to change forever.

She said "Jess, I'm so sorry but he's been having an affair".

"I know"..... I responded.

The truth was. I didn't specifically know but I knew that this was inevitable. I'd become accustomed to years of behaviours that I accepted as 'normal' yet always knowing that one day , he would press that big self destruct button that he had been dancing around for 18 years. This thought burdened me for our whole relationship but I buried it so deep that no one knew how trapped I really felt.

As much as I don't like to admit it to myself and I don't feel proud to say it.....I don't think I would have ever left had it not been for his infidelity. Divorce equalled failure in my mind. I had made a commitment and I was in it for better or worse. Thankfully, his actions set me free.

I've had a couple of the worst and best years of my life. I want to help you to feel brave. I would love to be here for you through your journey.
